Location

• The TPS is located within or on the side of the throttle body or carburetor.
• The Throttle Position Sensor identifies the position of the throttle plate to the engine computer. The signal voltage will be approximately 0.2-1.0 volt at idle and up to 4.6 volts at wide open throttle.
